We just learned from one of our lap swimmers that the current temperature of the lake is 46 degrees.
It needs to get colder, don't you think?

- I've worked at Meadowbrook Pool since 1981 when I started working as an Early Morning Lap Swim lifeguard. I didn't know very many people in Seattle because I had just moved here from Arizona. I was supposed to teach PE but I started working here and never wanted to leave. Both of my kids learned how to swim at Meadowbrook Pool...kids I taught how to swim are now lifeguards and teachers here....I've made many good friends here too.

Last Year it was 41 degrees. I will bring thermometers and penguins this year.
