It was sunny and cold. The water was 46 but the air was only 29 degrees. Luckily there was no wind chill.

Wow, has anyone come here? I guess not. There were sure a lot at the plunge. A million constrained swimmers finally became honest and found an excuse to get in the water. A few, like me, may have decided that this is so great I'm going to do this at least once a week all year. And if you're wondering if being 47 makes me too old, my mother joined me in these new year plunges so far.
I am with Billy. I am going to do this once a week, starting this weekend. It was a great day. And since the water was warmer than the air, it made it easier. Looking forward to year 10.....
Here is what NOT to do. In other words always check the Water first as to temperature and solidity!?
